Senior Broker - Surety

Responsible for surety program management for Aon’s construction relationships, including service support, pricing, consultation, and reporting. Retains and grows a profitable book of business.
Retain and grow Aon’s construction business, cultivating relationships with senior-most Economic Buyers in the client organization as well as with day-to-day User Buyers and Technical Buyers.

Facilitate critical relationships between clients, ARS and surety companies. Ensure overall account profitability with a value-based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service plan.

Negotiate Aon compensation for services, whether fee or commission-based, accordingly.

Ensure that the full value of involved ARS specialists and practice groups is promoted.

Develop and manage the implementation of Client Surety Service Plans for each client.

Lead surety stewardship planning and delivery.

Develop rapport and assist surety fulfillment team in meeting client performance expectations.

Educate clients in surety mattrers; financial items, contracts, operations, market issues and relevant trends.

Serve as a trusted business adviser on all pertinent issues; monitor client satisfaction; report and resolve client issues and concerns; and review client expectations to ensure relationship is mutually acceptable and beneficial.

Coordinate appropriate Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances.

Actively pursue and encourage enhanced business opportunities directly and in conjunction with originators. Take active role in local construction community.

Job Requirements
Seven years experience. Proficiency in MS office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong project management, time management, and analytical skills. Must be detail oriented, have a customer service focus, and be able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Must be able to work well in a team setting and juggle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously. Sales and/or marketing capabilities a must.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
