Sarbanes Oxley 404 Manager

Job Summary: A member of the Sarbanes Oxley 404 project management team. The position will interact with all levels of management, at the Corporate, Business Unit and Plant level, to document and test internal controls over financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

•Work with Corporate, Business Unit and plant management to update internal controls documentation, assist in the testing of controls.

•Implement polices and procedures.

•Monitor documentation and communicate with management to ensure timelines are met.

•Make recommendations to correct deficiencies found in the evaluation of internal controls.

•Directly coordinate required 404 documentation efforts including; scheduling resources, tracking progress, leading process documentation, checking accuracy of documentation, developing test plans, and executing test plans.

•Partner with Business Unit and Corporate liaisons to ensure that process documentation, risk control matrices and test plans properly identify key controls.

•Identify control gaps and document action plans.

•Coordinate external audit testing and analysis relating to SOX compliance.

•Review documentation and testing with executives ensure quality and consistency standards are met and maintained.

•Monitor remediation plan.

•Communicate and work with Business Unit and Corporate leaders to ensure that timelines are met for each phase of the Sarbanes project.

•Some travel may be involved working on projects at different sites across the Company.

•Position will assist with the Company’s ongoing compliance with SOX 404 by staying abreast of changes to processes and identifying internal controls needed

•Assist with special projects, such as internal control projects and others as warranted.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications / Education:
•Bachelor degree required
•CPA preferred
•5+ years for public accounting experience
•Strong project management and computer skills required
