SENIOR TAX SPECIALIST

Prepares complex tax returns and the appropriate related schedules for the following entity types: Individuals,Partnerships,Trusts,Corporations,Fiduciary,Exempt Organizations, Estate,Gift and Benefit Plans. Prepare and analyze financial statements from client schedules and client's accounting software. Perform extensive research regarding tax related issues. Communicate with Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, and other governmental authorities on behalf of clients. Meet and communicate with clients regarding various tax issues.
REQUIREMENTS
The position requires computer skills in Lacerte,Word, Excel and the ability to work in a variety of accounting software used by clients (QuickBooks, Creative Solutions, Business Works). The client prefers 5 years in public accounting and a CPA license would be ideal. Client offers flexible work schedule,pay is commensurate with experience and may pay more than the range indicated.
