SARBANES OXLEY COMPLIANCE ANALYST

We currently have a position open at our Executive Headquarters in Greenwich for a SARBANES OXLEY COMPLIANCE ANALYST. This person will assist the Manager with the various components of the company's SOX program to ensure ongoing compliance and support quarterly and annual certifications.

DUTIES:

Assist in the coordination and maintenance of the controls database:
•Streamline the controls database developed during the 2004 base year
•Coordinate converting the controls database and related documentation to Sox software

Assist in developing and implementing ongoing controls monitoring processes, for 404 and 302/906, including certifications by key control owners
•Interface with Internal Audit and the company’s outside independent auditors, regarding controls testing and related matters

Assist in enhancement and remediation of SOX Controls:
•Review and evaluate proposed system and other key changes impacting controls
•Liaison with corporate and field financial functions as well as operations and IT to mitigate control risks and achieve best practices
•Assist with remediation efforts to cure control deficiencies

REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•CPA or CMA preferred
•3-5 years financial experience, through public accounting/auditing (Big 4 a plus) and/or industry experience
•Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
•Systems knowledge and familiarity
•Excellent interpersonal skills
