Risk Analyst, Small Ticket Risk
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: Risk ManagementResponsibilities: * Analyzes credit information pertaining to loan and lease applications for transactions where total proposed outstanding involvement does not exceed $500K
Reviews all pertinent credit and financial information, including credit bureau reports, Dun & Bradstreet reports, and financial statements if necessary
Prepares summary, presents facts and offers recommendations concerning credit worthiness
Self-testing of certain credit department functions for compliance with approved processes, policies and procedures
Negotiates transactional terms with internal and external customer base
Selects proper legal documentation to support credit approvals
Generates pricing runs for existing loan and lease products
Assists in the development of systems, procedures, and risk reporting
Participates in training new-hires
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * 2 years minimum related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Financial skills (analysis, comprehension, and interpretation)
Experience in risk and related analysis
Ability to demonstrate solid Risk/Credit underwriting and legal documentation knowledge
Ability to make independent decisions and function with minimal supervision
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Proficient computer skills
4 year degreeDesired: * MBA a plus
