The benefits of working at Capital include interesting work, exceptional colleagues, a comfortable workplace, competitive salaries and bonuses, and health and life benefits from day one.The Retirement Plan Coordinator acts as the relationship and technical liaison between the recordkeeper, investment adviser, trustee, plan sponsor and American Funds. Responsibilities for the Retirement Plan Coordinator include: coordinating all aspects of installation and conversion for retirement plan clients to the program recordkeeper and trustee to ensure an accurate, complete, timely and efficient transition of assets. Periodically monitoring activity of plan related transactions, ensuring timely statement and report delivery, and troubleshooting service issues as required. Acting as technical and educational resource to all parties. Serving as technical and operational resource to the retirement plan marketing department and other related areas as required.Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of the 401K industry with a working knowledge of Qualified Plan requirements and testing criteria, ERISA concepts, plan design and implementation processes and compliance requirements
Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
Have a high degree of accuracy, follow through and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience in meeting facilitation
Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience in the financial, mutual fund or recordkeeping industry is preferredWe offer excellent salaries, a progressive environment and a premier benefits package that includes:
