Be responsible for the research information system's data quality: create and maintain data integrity procedures; perform daily reconciliation and address data integrity issues from internal and external data sources; be the data subject matter expert for any project or process using research data; perform one-time data clean-up projects as requested: monitor FactSet batch processing and resolve FactSet data issues; monitor other research technology batch processing to identify and resolve problems; and participate in system tests of FactSet enhancements and upgrades
Lead in-house support of FactSet by being the internal expert-user of this system and other important research technologies: Provide users with assistance and support as they transition from existing systems to the new research technology platform; support users by answering questions and resolving usage issues after they have made the transition (coordinating with MIS support staff); provide one-on-one training with users; and provide group training as necessary
Participate in other projects as requested by management
Qualifications
Expert with learning and teaching software applications
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet, Reuters, Bloomber
Bachelor's degree with excellent academic achievement
FactSet experience is highly desirable
Solution- and detail-oriented
Takes ownership of issues and sees them through to resolution
Motivated and able to work independently
Strong interpersonal skills
Highly organized and able to multi-task
Positive attitude and demonstrates initiative and persistence
