Real Estate Assistant

Well-established Real Estate Development company in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for a temp to hire and/or direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinating projects; maintaining project schedule and proofreads, and photocopies all correspondences for all assigned individuals. Transmits all interoffice documents in appropriately colored folders; Interfaces with Accounting Staff in the maintenance of accounting records managed properties; Maintain chorological files; Establishes and maintains effective relationships with vendors and maintenance and repair contractors; Prepares, updates, and, logs vendor and contractors Purchase/Work Orders (PO/PO and PO/LOG)and insurance certificate requirements; Maintain good management relations with all tenants; Prepares draw packages for Owners to request funds are received from Owner to request funds for development projects. Qualified candidates will possess very strong Administrative Assistant skills. Must have the ability to work independently. Ideally seeking someone who doesn't mind working alone from time to time. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and must be familiar with creating spreadsheets in excel. Knowledge of Yardi accounting software is a plus Assistant with a background in Real Estate Development strongly preferred. Construction background is a plus. Must have the ability to make decisions and work in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision. This is a temp to hire or Direct Hire for the right person.
