Program Manager, Global Channel Programs

As part of Seagate's Global Channel Marketing team - this function will be responsible for the end-to-end project management process of developing and managing a global partner communications strategy and database. The primary focus of this function will be to maintain a communication database, develop customer database profiling, segment and vertical profiling, develop and deploy target on 1:1 relationship marketing.

Responsibilities to includes but not limited to:
Position Seagate as a thought leader through the development of Global B2B on-line communication strategy for opt-in/opt-out eAlerts, podcast, blogs, web content, real simple syndication (RSS) etc.

Establish objectives for using specific communication mediums, choose appropriate vehicles, identify and manage necessary resources, evaluate vehicle usage effectiveness, understand Seagate's central business and value proposition, identify target audience, on-going assessment of the effectiveness of various delivery mediums to help achieve Seagate's objectives, ability to leverage and make use of existing content to current and emerging online channels, calculate the cost and time investment of utilizing mediums, develop and manage metric to assess success of each communication, evaluation qualitative measures to determine CSAT, act as cross functional lead between global channel marketing, global marketing, regions and business units.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience Required:
Experience in B2B and channel marketing a strong plus. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including writing, editing, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets highly organized. Effectively manages projects and budgets. Able to balance competing priorities and deliver on key marketing initiatives Ability to identify and execute tactical initiatives to help meet strategic objectives. Team player with creative problem solving skills, sound judgment and a sense of ownership and pride in his/her work. Understanding of and demonstrated success working with external agencies and highly matrixed internal organizations. Strong customer focus, including ability to think in terms of client experience and impart that perspective to team and agencies. Must be flexible and adaptable. Open to tackling new challenges head-on. Negotiation, presentation and meeting facilitation skills required.

Education:
Bachelor's degree required, with 5-6 years of related experience in marketing communications with a background in launching marketing campaigns utilizing various disciplines including online marketing, advertising, direct mail, product promotion, and collateral development.
