Program Manager

Purpose: Program Manager Job Search Description: The Program Manager is responsible for identifying and executing strategic as well as tactical initiatives, supporting the implementation of a technology program. The Program Manager will report directly to the Director of the Application Program Management Group.
Knowledge of the end-to-end System Development Lifecycle, technical architectures, corporate budgeting processes, and experience in dealing with Senior Management is a requirement. In addition, knowledge of the Auto Finance business (Originations, Servicing, Collections, Recovery, Re marketing) is a plus. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and self-motivation in order to adjust to frequently changing circumstances.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Define technology direction for programs and ensure alignment with corporate guidelines
Act as program manager for key strategic initiatives
Align business and technology goals with Marketing, Financial Management and Product Groups and interact with business senior management on a day-to-day basis
Act as senior management representative during team task assignments
Prepare and conduct presentations with senior management
Provide support during annual budget planning process
Review and critique project plans, architecture design documents and other technical documentation and provide guidance to development teams
Act as Solution Architect (technology) for key initiatives

Qualifications:
Proven ability to work with senior management on a day-to-day basis
Very strong understanding of technology architecture as well as the System Development Lifecycle (hands-on experience a strong plus)
Must be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and excellent problem solving skills required
Proven ability to work in fast-paced, results-driven system development environment. Ability to meet deadlines.
