Portfolio Profitability Manager

Responsible for managing financial reporting, planning, and analysis for Retail Payment Solutions and regularly providing strategic financial/accounting advice, forecasting, and guidance to top management. Specific responsibilities include; developing financial expectations and assisting in the management of financial performance for internal business lines (budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis): modeling and performing financial valuations on various loan portfolios/investment opportunities; consulting product/marketing managers in understanding their revenue drivers, analyzing marketing programs and achieving strong financial results; researching and providing data for decision making from various reporting systems; and ensuring proper and correct accounting treatments are applied to business line investing decisions (SOX, Contractual Accounting, etc.); and providing leadership, guidance and training to finance/accounting staff.Job Requirements
Requires extensive knowledge of financial analysis concepts and methodologies and general accounting procedures; well-developed financial analysis, forecasting and planning skills; proven leadership skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong PC skills; and significant modeling, data analysis, and problem identification capabilities. Also requires good time management and must demonstrate resourcefulness in the development of solutions. Incumbent typically has a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-10 years of related experience. An advanced degree (MBA, CPA, etc) is considered a plus.
