This position requires the type of person that not only can provide financial support but can also drive productivity. In addition, the incumbent will have the opportunity to be involve with and support division analysis/projects and major capital delivery projects. This position reports directly to the Waxahachie Controller.Responsibilities include:
Financial planning
Forecasting and budgeting
Participation in the monthly closing process
Analysis and reporting of plant performance
Financial analysis and maintenance of accurate standard costs
Participating in project teams to identify, recommend and implement profit improvement or cost avoidance
Assisting plants to achieve financial targets and educating plant personnel regarding key areas of opportunity
Implementing appropriate business and process controls to support Control Process Advantage objectives
participation in the Capital Delivery Process
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is essentialExperiences/Competencies/Languages:Attention to detail, teamwork and computer skills - Access, Excel, financial analysis and decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills, Initiative, motivation, written/oral communication skills.Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.Owens Corning is an equal opportunity employer.
