Planning and Forecasting Analyst

General Purpose:
Develop the rolling 12-month company-wide sales, inventory and purchase plans in units and dollars for Hanna Andersson. Develop reporting to monitor accuracy of forecast and inventory availability to ensure that the forecast meets acceptable variance targets and inventory meets turn and ending inventory objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Specific Job Skills:
•Strong data manipulation, development of forecasting models, financial analysis skills are essential.
•Excellent project management skills, ability to meet timelines.
•Ability to maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
•Strong computer skills, high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
•Previous experience working with planning systems desired
•Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
•Ability to develop written reports and analyses.
•Ability to focus on details and a commitment to accuracy of work.

Education and Experience:
•BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or other applicable field.
•2-3 years planning or forecasting experience; experience in catalog or retail environment desirable.
•Experience with planning systems highly desirable.
