Responsibilities:
Acquiring, analyzing and managing data, pricing elements, and information dealing specifically with, but not limited to, pharmacy pricing, pricing reports, and store pricing, to ensure efficient and accurate information and realizing the goal of increasing/improving pharmacy gross profit. Analyzes past results for opportunities to increase retails and therefore improve profitability. Assumes some of the day to day entry of retail pharmacy drug prices and processing of daily price change reports. Developing and implementing methods on the drug price review process; analyzes pricing and gross profits and implements new solutions and new alternatives; recommends and coordinates improvements in the systems and data provided by Walgreen pharmacy departments; participates in the development and implementation of pharmacy systems and procedures, as related to pricing and pricing analysis.

Qualifications:
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Business, or related field; Familiarity with pharmacy DSS a plus, Knowledge of Business Objects Software, Microsoft Office Suite of products - Especially Excel and Access is preferable. Healthcare/Walgreens experience a plus; strong analytical skills; highly motivated and energetic; oral, written and interpersonal communications skills are required; ability to design, implement and evaluate system usability tests and provide recommendations to management. Knowledge of GIS and Filemaker would be a plus.
