POSITION DESCRIPTION
Division/Department: Great Plains Regional Financial Office (RFO 527)
Position Title: Partner
Reports to Title: Managing Partner

The Partner is responsible for driving the growth of the Regional Financial Office by leading and developing an assigned group of Financial Representatives (FRs). The Partner will also assist in determining and carrying out long and short-term goals of the Regional Financial Office (RFO).The Partner is fully accountable for effective performance results of assigned Financial Representatives and compensation will be based accordingly. Specific performance metrics corresponding to the accountabilities of the Partner listed below will be discussed and agreed upon with the Managing Partner.Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Drive productivity and growth by:
Manage the RFO New FR (NFR) Launch program
Work with New FRs to train, coach and develop necessary activity and production
Work with New FRs to create, execute and monitor business plans, including marketing plans, and performance reports
Oversee management of NFA Financing program
Drive the NFA Production measurements, monitor NFA Trajectory and manage to accountabilities and expectations
Work with PDM and RMAs to deliver best in class training and preparation of NFAs
Manage the Regional Team Lead program
Work with Team Leads to form, develop, and provide service to teams, including clarifying team member roles, aiding in the resolution of team issues, and determining team membership
Work with Team Leads to create, execute and monitor team business plans, including team marketing plans, team performance reports, and team members’ roles and accountabilities (e.g., specialist roles)
Oversee management of team client assignments
Maintain the regional team model, including operating principles and managing to accountabilities and expectations
Provide leadership and management of Joint Field Work in the region
Develop, implement, and monitor joint-field work expectations and standards among FRs and FR teams
Promote, monitor, and increase joint work among FRs and teams
Manage and oversee joint field work agreements and standards among FRs and FR teams, ensuring appropriateness and fairness in specific arrangements
Coordinate joint field work standards with RMA/RSA program
Provide leadership and management over the performance of assigned FRs.
Conduct business and marketing planning with assigned FRs to link FRs’ goals for developing their practices with RFO goals
Conduct regular coaching and accountability conversations with assigned FRs to support FR business plans and goals achievement
Create and execute strategies to build FR expertise and professionalism to better meet member needs
Monitor and supervise FA business practices to ensure adherence with Thrivent rules, procedures and processes
Work with the other RFO leaders to coordinate the training and development of assigned FRsPosition Qualifications
State insurance licenses in life, health, accident and variable products in all states where RFO FRs transact business or attained within 90 days of appointment
NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 - OR - NASD Series 7 and 66
Attainment of CLU ChFC, CFP and/or CLF designation expected on a timely basis
College degree and/or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
Strong leadership, management and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry
Membership in National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and GAMA required. Membership in the Society of Financial Services required based on eligibility.
Insurable under both the Society’s applicable fidelity bond and errors and omissions coverage
Ability to effectively travel around the assigned geographic area

Maintain an effective working relationship with other organizations in the Financial Services Industry and professional organizations.
