The University HealthSystem Consortium, an alliance of over 90 academic health centers, has an opening for a qualified professional in its Technology Services Department.

This new position is critical to the enterprise-wide IT planning, information gathering and driving force behind ensuring the resource are being scheduled for strategic objectives. The Portfolio Manager will ensure all relevant information is gathered and presented to the UHC IT Steering Task Forum (ISTF) for their review and ultimate decision making on all IT projects.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in project management coursework and experience. An advanced degree working toward an advanced degree in Business or MIS is preferred. Proven organizational, time management and presentation skills is required. Project Management Institute PMP certification is desired. Must have a minimum of 6-8 years' experience on technology focused project management and/or portfolio management with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare provider setting. Experience working with multiple project and project teams of varied experience and technologies. Experience in Web-based projects and BI systems. Strong knowledge of PM tools and techniques. Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, Visio, Project Server, and Microsoft Project Professional.
