As a branch manager, you will be responsible for developing mortgage loans from referral sources including, but not limited to, realtors, telemarketing, direct mailings, etc. as well as developing and maintaining referral sources from attorneys, collection agencies, banks, finance companies, realtors, etc. You will also take complete and thoroughly documented applications, keep all parties to the mortgage transaction informed as to status of application, and set the customers/sources' expectations and educate them on the entire mortgage origination process. In addition, you will quote rates to customers and follow through to ensure the loans are properly locked, recruit and retain productive loan offers, train all new loan officers and all seasoned loan officers on new products and programs, and maintain acceptable levels of branch profitability and loan production per loan officer. You will meet fair lending goals by achieving parity in ideal market, maintain high customer satisfaction levels, maintain acceptable HMDA exception rates, ensure vendor invoices are submitted in a timely manner, and administer, apply, and enforce Federal and State compliance policies as well as Chase policies and procedures. Furthermore, you will conduct sales/staff meetings, ensure staff has received written standards and objectives and at least one written performance review in each twelve month period, and ensure all salary actions and payroll documentation are submitted in a timely manner.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of management/sales experience requiredMinimum 5 years experience in originating BC mortgage or consumer finance (purchases and refinance) requiredTrack record established to build self source business; strong knowledge of real estate market in local area.College degree preferred or equivalent management sales experienceStrong knowledge of mortgage procedures, regulations, underwriting and loan process proceduresPrior management experience requiredExcellent written/oral communication skillsSales and consulting skills requiredProficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
