Mgr Cash Management -20202

-Manages the organization's cash and oversees the allocation of cash balances, investment of cash portfolios and cash flow analysis.
-Oversees the daily activity for issuing and redeeming commercial paper.
-Cultivates dealer and broker relationships.
-Manages the resources that operate and maintain Treasury Workstation software.
-Directs the preparation of estimates and forecasts of cash flow as well as actual vs. plan reporting for management.
-Directs the compilation, analysis, and interpretation of market/financial data to prepare reports and to forecast future trends.
-Stays abreast of economic activities. Monitors short-term portfolio after the selection and execution of investments.
-Responsible for internal controls, compliance reporting, and disaster plans.
-Formulates recommendations, policies, or plans to interpret cash flow impacts of corporate actions.
-Monitors or participates in the evaluation of new cash investment opportunities by reviewing current practices and industry best practices.
-Participates in task forces and/or committees to represent the unit/department.
-Enhances internal customer service through the implementation of reporting and processing improvements as well as promotion of service-oriented approach within assigned functional area(s).
-Performs management responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc. Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
-Master's Degree or a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and equivalent experience.
-More than five years combined experience in short term securities and investments and general accounting, finance, budgeting and planning in a major organization with a significant portion completing projects or some management responsibilities.
-Strong management and leadership skills a must.
-Cash Flow Reporting experience preferred.
