Services the on-going and ad-hoc analytical needs of assigned clients (senior management, marketing, product development, retention and/or financial cross-sell) providing business trends, insights and strategic implications. Interfaces with internal clients to determine reporting needs & priorities, reporting strategies, analysis design, data sources and implementation methodologies/timing. Executes reports and ad hoc analyses in a timely manner. Summarizes results in a concise written format and presents to client emphasizing implications and strategic recommendations. Develops a deep understanding of the assigned businesses offering subject matter expertise as necessary. Analyses may include marketing campaign effectiveness, new product acceptance, cross-sell effectiveness, and customer attrition. Anticipates future client needs and develops new solutions and insights. May provide analytical/database design expertise for special projects.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
1. Field requests for ad hoc analysis and/or changes to existing reports. Work with clients to scope out existing needs and analytical methodology including database sources, analytical strategy and output format. Execute reports and ad hoc analyses in a timely manner. Summarize results in a concise written format and present to client emphasizing implications and strategic recommendations. Anticipate future client needs and recommend new solutions. Interface with Advanced Analytics team to augment analytical quality and techniques. Follow up with internal clients to ensure satisfaction with outputs. (Example: Product Development wishes to analyze the cannibalization interaction of two new products with existing products in the marketplace.)2. Execute approved reports and analyses with a strong emphasis on delivering actionable business insights and implications. Adjust activity as priorities change as necessary. Work with BISIM to ensure data quality and automate reports. Maintain contact with internal clients to ensure satisfaction with outputs. (Example: Execution of 15 existing Product Development reports tracking new product performance on a weekly, monthly and/or quarterly basis.)3. Using knowledge of internal/external databases (AIMS, MDSS, STS, Hemisphere, etc.) and analytical techniques, provide analytical expertise and perspective to special projects. Maintain active membership on assigned project teams, attending weekly/monthly meetings as necessary. (Example: Five exisiting New Product Teams, CIM, Customer Lab, etc.)Travel is required -- on average 1 trip per month.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:Experience with basic statistical models and analysis techniques including crosstabs, anova, t-tests, simple regression, etc. Experience with database extracts, report writing, and analytical tools including SAS. Hands-on experience with analysis and report design. Demonstrated experience in synthesizing results into concise written findings and strategic implications Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Preferred Skills:M.A. degree in Statistics or Marketing Research or 5+ years related work experience.
