Margin Analyst, Senior This position works to improve and support Consumer Markets Division revenues, pricing policies, approaches and structures. Key functions include mining, analyzing, trending and interpreting complex pricing data and information to define issues, document conclusions and formulate recommendations based on intelligence gleaned from the analysis. The successful candidate will analyze economics model to identify pricing opportunities and present interpretations and detailed analyses of findings to management, providing recommendations and alternatives for further consideration, in addition to developing and implementing new pricing measures and approaches to maximize revenue. The Marketing Analyst will also be relied on to assist field personnel in understanding, interpreting and applying pricing policies/approaches; review and update pricing policies as new products are developed and new pricing adjustments created; and troubleshoot any pricing-related issues to devise solutions. Other duties will include working with the pricing manager and technology team to build, maintain and support flexible systems, in addition to conferring with the sales team to understand competitive issues.Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Math. MPA/CPA a plus.

5+ years of mortgage banking experience with emphasis in pricing.

Solid experience in working with information technology, database issues and modeling utilities.

Comprehensive experience in mortgage pricing and an understanding of servicing values strongly desired.

Knowledge of mortgage products/delivery processes.

Proficiency in advanced math.

SQL experience preferred.

Ability to anticipate impact of requested changes before implementation and testing.

Ability to present complex issues to all levels of management.

Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills.

Very strong Access skills preferred.
