Manager, Rebate and Chargeback Administration

Quality Executive Careers has been retained by a major pharmaceutical company to assist them in their search for a Manager, Rebate and Chargeback Administration. In this position you will manage and ensure timely and accurate processing of charge backs and rebates through strong business knowledge, close interaction with Contracting and thorough analyses. You will ensure processes are efficient and in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. You must have specialized knowledge of the basic principles and practices related to the management and logic of the wholesaler chargeback operation as well as contracting strategies.
Responsibilities will include:Managing the activity of the Rebate Analysts and Charge Back Analysts in the administration and fulfillment of Medicaid and Commercial rebates and Charge Backs.
Review, approve and ensure timely and accurate payment of valid Medicaid and commercial rebates.
Oversee reconciliations of drug wholesaler charge backs and insure accurate payment.
Manage, develop and implement system and process improvements.
You will lead a group of 6 direct reports and be responsible for performance reviews, coaching and developing employees and providing an environment that fosters learning, open communications and team work.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related business field. MBA or CPA preferred. A minimum of 7 years experience in finance, accounting, sales or contracting is required. Knowledge of MS Office including SAP, Excel and Power Point is required. Specialized knowledge of the basic principles and practices related to the management and logic of the wholesaler chargeback is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is desired.
