Presently, we are evaluating candidates interested in pursuing a career as a Planning & Analysis Manager in our Finance Department.

This position requires strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal skills and business acumen.


JOB RESONSIBILITIES
o Manage one financial analyst.
o Planning and Analysis of the InStore businesses production expenses.
o Planning and analysis of the SmartSource.Com and SmartSource Direct businesses
o Support of the InStore Operations department by leading the annual budget, quarterly reforecast and monthly estimate processes.
o Support of the SmartSource.Com and SmartSource Direct businesses with sales reporting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business review and strategy presentations and key initiatives.
o Work closely with the InStore Operations department in identifying cost savings opportunities and tracking implemented savings.
o Responsible for the monthly financial close and journal entries of the SmartSource.Com and SmartSource Direct businesses and balance sheet analysis.
o Responsible for analyzing InStore Production expense actuals in comparison to budgeted standards by product line.
o Supports all SmartSource Direct pricing proposals and performs post audit analysis on contracted programs.
o Calculates all SmartSource.Com commission payments and submits to Accounts Payable for payment.
o Maintains the SmartSource.Com and SmartSource Direct sales databases.
o Competitor and adhoc analysis.
Job RequirementsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and an MBA a plus


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
7 plus years of Finance and Accounting experience with increasing responsibilities with 3 plus years of management experience. Experience should include supporting non-Finance and non-Accounting departments (ie. Sales and Operations)


TECHNICAL SKILLS (INCLUDING PC SKILLS)
o Strong analytical skills
o Strong Excel and Word skills
o Knowledge of Oracle Financial Systems and Hyperion Essbase, and Siebel a plus


OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR PREFERRED SKILLS (I.E. TRAVEL):
Weekly travel to NYC
