Manager Commodities Valuations

Responsibilities: A world class investment bank in Purchase, is seeking a Manager for Commodities Valuations. This position is responsible for being proactive in evaluating the reasonableness of trader's commodity marks and providing extensive documentation of marking and mark testing methodologies. The Manager will develop and implement process efficiencies; coordinating with BUC and IT. The Manager will provide technical expertise to analyze the commodity portfolio as well as specific transactions to determine if they are valued at fair market. The Manager will perform portfolio and deal specific valuation adjustment and continually analyze valuation adjustments to insure they are specified and applied correctly. This position will articulate mark review standards and valuation policy and manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. The Commodities Valuations group coordinates closely with the Business Unit Controller's organization in determining projects and prioritizing objectives.
