This position assumes the lead role in managing strategic analytical projects. Provide analytical support to the field sales organization and executive management team. Manage the sale commission program, annual pricing implementation and territory alignment. Manages up to 4 direct reports.Primary Responsibilities:
Manages up to 4 sales analysts.Provide analytical support to the Field Sales organization including, but not limited to: territory listings, regional and territory growth/decline analysis and customer savings analysis. Provide analytical direction to the sales analysts in supporting the managers of dealer sales and corporate accounts. Some of the reports include margin and sales analysis as well as dealer reports.
Manage the sales commission programs for Domestic, International and subsidiary company reps. This includes: commission pay-out calculations; check requests and distribution. Assist in establishing territory coding in an AS400 system, including zip code ranges and customer eligibility. Supervise the resolution of all commission issues as they arise.
Provide to senior management monthly sales analysis and reports to assist in setting strategy. Reports include: weekly capitol and supplies growth rankings; market segment sales; and sales force graphs measuring growth performance.
Oversee annual pricing, including calculation of manual price lists, as well as special pricing.Special projects, reports, and analysis as requested by the executive management team.Job Qualifications:3+ years previous experience as a supervisor in an analytical role, preferably for a large consumer oriented organization. A BS degree in Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Economics or other analytical field is required.
3+ years of staff management experience required.
Financial reporting experience is helpful.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical, problem solving and intuitive skills. Logical thinker.
Ability to implement process improvements.
Strong computer skills are required including Microsoft Excel, Access (strong understanding of relational database systems), Power Point, Word, Oracle or SQL systems. Knowledge of AS400 environment.
