MGR PERFORM & RISK ANALYSIS

Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: Investment Advisors Location: FIFTH THIRD CENTER, CINCINNATI, OHGENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for creating and maintaining investment performance, risk, and attribution information used to support the institutional sales force with competitive analysis, data for sales materials, fund of funds programs, manager of managers programs, and other projects as necessary. Create scorecard analysis of our own fund managers for our senior management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops implements and communicates performance and risk measuring and monitoring procedures for equity and fixed income investment management processes.
May design and develop, or evaluate and purchase quantitative and analytic models to monitor and manage investment performance, style analysis, attribution, and risk.
Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the organization's investment performance and risk exposure on both a day-to-day and long-term basis.
Responsible for creating and using performance attribution software to create reports for client, consultant, or internal management use.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be capable of managing junior employee(s) assigned to assist in the construction and maintenance of investment performance information. Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: ? Must have comprehensive knowledge of the firm's investment styles and products. ? Must have extensive knowledge of the firm's trading practices and market characteristics (liquidity and volatility). ? Must be able to work independently on complex and important risk management projects. ? Must have ability to work on performance attribution projects and reports. ? Five (5) or more years of risk management or related investment experience. ? Bachelors degree in investments or statistics required. ? Advanced degree/certification preferred. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required. ? Heavy emphasis on math and analytical concepts. E.O.E., M/F/D/V
