Loan Processor

Purpose:
Our client, located in Gardena, CA, is looking for a Loan Processor to join their team. This position requires 2-3 years of related experience. Responsibilities for the position along with a listing of specific criteria for this position are cited below.

On a day to day basis, the job entails:
-Responsible for validating and verifying loan application information
-Compare application information to system input, and analyzing supporting documentation on Automated Underwriting System (AUS) approved loans to determine if information supports the AUS decision.
-Review loan application package for completeness and accuracy, reconcile application information against system input, compare and confirm individual data
-Verify and validate supporting income, asset, and liability documentation to ensure the validity of the AUS approved decision
-Calculate and analyze income structure (i.e. employment, tax returns, divorce decree, alimony), calculate and analyze funds to close (i.e. verification of deposits, gift money, IRA, 401(k), sale of assets), HUD statements, and reserves),
-Review and verify credit report (i.e. FICO, pay history, validate other debts) and other mortgage/real estate owned (i.e. disposition of property, rental income).

For an individual to be eligible for this position they must have the following skills and experience in the following duties:

Skills:
-Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry
-Background in mortgage industry/lending
-Organization
-Attention to detail
-Quick learner

This position is contract to hire, and pay $15 hr. DOE

Requirements include a stable work history, verifiable references and the ability to pass a background.
