Loan Originator:

This position is responsible for the origination of residential loans (“Country Mortgages”) for sale in the Secondary Market within the Augusta and Rockbridge County areas. This position must determine the appropriate investor with which to place the mortgage based upon approved investors and available products. Serves present and prospective customers with sound, productive residential credit according to District policy and investor guidelines. Develops business development strategies that target potential Farm Credit customers, as well as referrals from builders, realtors, and other sources for Secondary Market Loans.

Requires a minimum of 3 years loan originating experience
Superior written and oral communication skills
Proven sound decision making/problem solving ability
Demonstrated high performance with minimal supervisions
