Amber Mortgage - A mortgage banker throughout the U.S. is seeking bi-lingual candidates for multiple Loan Officer positions in our Chicago, Illinois area offices. These hands-on Loan Officer positions will cover assisting clients with first time home purchases, refinancing and debt consolidation with credit profiles of A, B, C and D. We prefer Loan Officer with past telemarketing experience.
Job Summary for Loan Officer:
Responsible for growing business in the assigned area by implementing marketing plans such as prospecting, realtor presentations, community involvement, mailers and one on one appointments.
Identify and develop new customers in the designated region and state.
You will be required to pursue your state license immediately if you have yet to get one.
Work Performed by Loan Officer
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies focused on maximizing the Company’s revenue growth in that assigned branch
Manage existing accounts and aggressively prospect new accounts through face to face meetings, telemarketing, realtors, and mailers
Establish and maintain customer files and contacts
Responsible for analyzing credit reports, appraisal reports, income documentation and title reports
Consummate loan transactions and follow-up on all pre-funding conditions
Required to maintain a general sales-oriented knowledge of Company’s full product line and familiarity with the mortgage markets for their sale
Proper representation of the Company at various sales presentation
Be able to make and attend home appointments

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications for Loan Officer:
Bilingual is a plus!
Telemarketing experience is a plus
Experience either in outside sales or mortgage sales preferred
Ability to define market requirements, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to negotiate interest rates in conjunction with the clients credit profiles and analyze competitive situations
Must demonstrate team-oriented working skill and be customer service driven
Ability to calculate business figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, percent yields
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,: excellent presentation skills
Excellent Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
Well groomed and professional
Ownership of appropriate vehicle with proof of insurance
