This position is for a 6+ year experienced Manager Level Tax professional with a strong Corporate Income Tax background. You will be responsible for formulating and delivering innovative tax planning, tax saving strategies, managing and reviewing tax compliance for our clients. You will be managing client relationships on consulting engagements in the areas of US Federal, State and Local Taxes, as well as management of the US tax return compliance process including planning, accounting and compliance services primarily for large corporations. You will be responsible for preparation and review of FAS 109 calculation, including preparing work papers and collecting appropriate information for determining deferred tax balance sheet accounts, tax provision and asset valuation for quarterly and year-end filings. You will also be responsible for managing, leading and directing Senior and Staff Consultants on client engagements.Job Requirements

Min of 6+ years of progressive tax experience in public or corporate tax department.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with Tax emphasis preferred.
CPA or verifiable evidence that you are working towards certification preferred.
MS in Taxation desirable.
Good foundation of GAAP and FAS 109 provision experience required.
Co-sourcing and outsourcing experience.
Experience in, federal, state and multi-state income taxation.
Must possess a solid understanding of accounting theory, tax and accounting practices.
Ability to interact with multiple departments within an Organization.
Experience in audit or consulting is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to translate complex tax issues into simple terms to enhance client understanding.
Solid PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Office applications and tax preparation software (FAST-Tax/Go systems); advanced Excel skills required.
Must be client focused, results driven, and industry savvy.
Assist in Business development activities
