LEAP Manager Project Leader

Leap Manager needed with a minimum of 3 years experience in managing projects of medium to high complexity as well as experience in managing and designing technical applications of high complexity and multiple integrations (Technology Background is a must). Experience in Process reengineering. Two to Three years of Banking experience is desirable. University Degree in Information System related career required. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering as well as Formal Project Management Training is highly desirable.

Essentials of the Job:

To manage, lead, coordinate, supervise and control the performance of assigned projects related to the LEAP model (process optimization and/or automation via a workflow tool and imaging system), including the design, redesign, development and implementation of processes related to new or exiting products and services. Evaluate processes optimization and analyze the costs/investment needed wit the objective of improving the service quality, achieving efficiencies and minimizing operational risk. Ensure that the processes include contingency plans and that are compliant with regulations. To coordinate and develop as required, the definition, design, and/or redesign of the functional specifications for the technology solutions required in the processes or any other resources/investment needed in the implementation of processes. Determine the roles responsibilities and organization required in the processes, including the definition of exceptions in the processes. To manage, control and validate the deliverable s of technology solutions service providers and systems development suppliers. Ensure adequate performance of these suppliers. Negotiate SLAs, terms and conditions of the engagements with service providers related to the assigned project. To lead, coordinate and participate in the execution of the Quality Assurance tests required to certify the accurate performance of the LEAP technological solutions required in a process for an assigned project. To coordinate with lead counselors the execution of legal documents and inquiries required for proper contractual engagements related to an assigned project.

Makes recommendations on development strategies for processes and products supported by the LEAP application as well as evaluate alternatives for the optimization of the LEAP application.
Manage at all times the LEAP application (on-going production support/maintenance), ensuring system availability and process efficiency. Propose and implement changes to the application to ensure at all times risk controlled Bank processes (operational, credit and regulatory risk).
