Junior Media Equity Analyst

Top Bulge Bracket Investment Bank is currently looking for Associate level Analysts to work in sell side equity research with specific focus on Media, Advertising and Entertainment. Responsibilities include conducting independent research based on company financials, DCF and Excel modeling, writing and publishing research reports and attending research meetings and research calls. Successful Research Associates, with prior experience can be put on a fast track to gaining coverage of their own.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Candidates MUST Have:
- A Bachelor's degree from a top college or university (Business or Economics focus preferred.)
- A thorough knowledge of the Media, Advertising and/or Entertainment Industry (experience in the Media Industry is a plus.)
- MBA or CFA certification preferred BUT NOT REQUIERED.
- 1-2 years experience as a Junior Media Equity Analyst (buy or sell side), Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, or a Capital Markets Analyst.
- Strong professional experience with Writing and Financial Modeling (DCF, Valuations etc.)
- Excellent verbal and writing skills and must be able to express ideas effectively.
