Junior Accountant/Back Office Generalist

Principle & Interest payments:
Research
Calculate payments
Daily balancing
Communication with prime brokers
Work with counterparties for interest claims
Reconcile settlement trades.
Continuous follow up on settlements.
Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Daily data entry for trade activity.
Cash reconciliations.
Coordinate material and supplement data for audits and due diligence requests.
Interact closely with brokers, operations and accounting to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely monthly accounting closes.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self- motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development.
Possess a high level of integrity and self-confidence.
Solid Microsoft product/Advanced Excel knowledge.
Minimum 1-2 years in financial accounting or back office operations and possess an aptitude for investment accounting (fixed income product knowledge a plus).
BS in Accounting or Finance preferred.
