Issuer Relations Associate

Moody's Investors Service is among the world's most respected, widely utilized sources for credit ratings, research and risk analysis. In addition to our core ratings business, Moody's publishes market-leading credit opinions, deal research and commentary that reach more than 3,000 institutions and 22,000 subscribers around the globe.Business Line: CRA AdminPrimary contact for managing business and pricing relationships with issuers of debt securities. Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Moody's pricing and billing policies. Ability to understand Moody’s Corporate rating process and rating initiatives. Issuer Relations Associates discuss daily with issuers our common rating products such as Bonds, Syndicated Loans, Commercial Paper, MTN/Shelf, Corporate Family Ratings, Indicatives and Project Financings.Successfully identify and implement new pricing initiatives. Discuss and explain current pricing and policy practices to issuers and financial intermediaries. Communicate annual pricing changes to all existing issuers. Manage relationship problems and issuer pricing disputes. Maintain low account receivable balances. Regular interaction with various departments, including Finance, Tax, Billing, Ratings Data Entry and Technology. Work closely with the Syndicated Bank Loan experts discussing new ratings and amendments to existing facilities. Ability to work with high level Managing Directors and Analysts on a regular basis. Actively assist Managing Directors in managing issuer relationships.Issuer Relations Associates will cover a portfolio of 2 Managing Directors with analytic staffs of 10-15 analysts. Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of existing and new issuer accounts, particularly in the High Yield market. Candidate will have strong problem solving skills.Other responsibilities include pipeline tracking, proactively reducing monthly accruals, tracking rating applications, ensuring compliance, responding to audit and SOX requests, estimating reserve situations, researching unapplied cash or wires, testing system enhancements such as VAT, contacting delinquent commercial paper issuers, reconciling debt or program outstandings, resolving incorrect rating codes, discussing policy and procedure memos, processing refunds and cancellation paperwork and reviewing Rating Applications and Fee Schedules.Resumes submitted in Microsoft Word format are preferred.

REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of financial services experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelors degree required. Seeking self-starter who will work independently. Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
