Internet Senior Systems Analyst - 10426

And we're seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for our Internet Services Division in Des Moines, IA!Duties and Responsibilities:? Analyzes user requests and recommends course of action to management.
? Defines goals of the system and devises flow charts and/or diagrams describing logical steps of programs.
? Produces appropriate research and analysis necessary to complete development projects.
? Plans, develops and tests ways to apply systems resources to additional operations.
? Provides project management for design, development and testing of critical projects.
? Organizes tasks and resources to complete work and meet deadlines according to established development practices and standards.
? Conducts comprehensive reviews of projects/tasks to ensure adherence to design and quality objectives.
? Directs or assists others in development of detailed programs and system specifications and test plans.
? Provides team management for technical crisis resolution and assistance to development staff.
? Using various resources, continually learns, studies and applies new information in fast paced, dynamic technical environment.
? Interacts in cooperative and professional manner with all levels of employees, vendors and/or clients in team-oriented environment.
? Provides regular communication updates to Development management, requestors, and other affected departments for assigned projects.
? Works on call when required or requested.
? Travels off-site when required or requested.
? Maintains confidentiality of CDS and its clients’ proprietary information.
? Assumes additional duties as required or requested.*
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Desired:? Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent successful senior programmer analyst work experience; preference for Bachelor's in MIS or COM SCI.? MINIMUM of 4 years of progressively complex WEB computer programming/analysis experience REQUIRED.? Demonstrated full project life cycle work experience/skills on multiple web applications.
? Successful experience completing design and implementation of multi-program project(s).? Demonstrated skill with the following: HTML, JavaScript, Java, JDBC and SQL REQUIRED.
? Experience or demonstrated knowledge in the following technologies is preferred: J2EE, JSP, JSF, EJBs, SOAP, WSDL, XML, WebSphere, Perl, CVS, Eclipse IDE, DB2, and Linux.
? Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills ( especially communicating technical information to non-technical persons).? Experience making decisions on variety of business tasks requiring discretion, judgment and initiative.? May travel or work extended hours as needed.**Job Description in HR. AA/EOE
