Responsibilities:
Reports to the Enterprise Steering Committee.
Attracts and oversees skilled project management resources for qualifying WHS projects.
Manages financial reporting team who track project progress and financial burn against timelines and budgets.
Partners with other organizational leadership.
Provides “early warning” of project/initiative delays that can doom a strategic initiative.
Provides analysis and alternative recommendations.
Provides a realistic overall picture of the project/initiative portfolio.
Creates standardized reporting across the business units.
Communicates governance board decisions to project managers.

Qualifications:
Experience in the development of IT PMO organizations supporting an IT shop of 250+
Experience with the large scale implementation of PPM software
Proven large program change agent (required)
Strong overall WHS functional knowledge (nice to have)
Strategic thinking / planning and influence
Team leadership - people management
Budgeting / financial management
IT experience implementing large scale solutions
Industry knowledge / experience (nice to have)
Walgreens knowledge / experience (nice to have)
8 to 10 years of job-related experience
