Hospital Financial Accounting and Reporting Systems Analyst
Clarian Health Partners has an urgent need for an experienced hospital FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYST. Person must first be an expert financial accounting professional and then possess proficiency in automated financial reporting systems. Knowledge of Lawson highly preferred.
This position provides support for the selection, configuration, creation, installation, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and utilization of complex automated financial, accounting, monitoring and reporting systems (enterprise resource planning tools) and processes to meet the requirements of Clarian Health Partners.
The incumbent will be an active participant and contributor to the maintenance and development of the databases, which hold master files and financial information. This position requires the ability to assess a situation from a global perspective, determine the impact to the institution, departments, and the individuals involved, and eventually operationalize the change, minimizing the impact on the Financial Services Group staff and other departments.
This position will also have the responsibility of identifying and implementing improvements in processes and procedures related to FSG processing and data reporting.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESRequires Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years proven experience and progressive experience in Computer Technology; or a related field is preferred.
Requires a minimum of four years of directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree, if degree is being actively pursued.
Requires functional knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable.
Requires ability to learn new software systems and apply that knowledge successfully.
Requires analytical capabilities and business exposure.
Requires excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requires knowledge of legal and regulatory issues surrounding data security, including HIPAA, SAS, 70 and employment law.(Certifications preferred.)Requires familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Timekeeping systems, and multi-dimensional reporting systems.
Requires knowledge and expertise in database management.
Requires ability to apply previous systems experience to meet the needs of the user.
Requires ability to maintain confidential communication and use judgment and discretion.
Requires ability to take initiative and meet objectives and timelines.
Requires ability to communicate clearly and concisely through written and verbal mediums.
Requires strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Requires ability to work independently.Knowledge of specific systems in use at Clarian preferred. Lawson experience highly preferred.
