Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager for Home Equity Correspondent Lending, utilizing various standard sales processes, this position will be responsible for generating home equity loan purchase opportunities from Correspondent Lenders currently providing traditional first mortgage product to CitiMortgage.  The position will also provide sales support to existing home equity correspondent lenders and assist in developing new relationships that may become available outside of CitiMortgage relationships or through joint sales efforts with Citifinancial and First Collateral Services.





 





In addition, this position will require detailed follow up with loan origination clients, answering questions they may have, providing after-the-sale customer support, and enhancing these relationships as opportunities present themselves.





 





Description of Duties:





*Sales and relationship management calls at the client's location.





*Sales and relationship management calls over the telephone and via written communication.





*Travel will be required and may be as much as 50% of total time.





*Create sales and training materials.





*Act as liaison between correspondent sales and operations.





*Coordinated sales efforts with CitiMortgage Account Executives.





*Gather market and investor data. *Other duties as required.












































REQUIREMENTS


Key Areas of Knowledge, Experience and Education:





*Detailed understanding of mortgage lending.





*Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.





*Ability to create and present training materials.





*Above average computer skills including Word, Lotus and Excel.





*Working knowledge of contracts, agreements, legal and compliance issues.





*Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision.





*BS or BA degree preferred.
