The Life Sciences & Health Care practice has been identified by Deloitte leadership to have significant growth opportunities. Today, the practice boasts a complement of over 2,800 professionals across the country providing the full range of Audit, Tax, Financial Advisory and Management Consulting services. Our clients include Health Care Providers, Pharmaceutical corporations and Biotechnology companies.
The Practice - Deloitte Financial Advisory Services ("Deloitte FAS")
Consisting of over 1,000 professionals, Deloitte FAS offers advice to clients on Corporate Finance, Reorganization, Valuation and Forensic & Dispute Services. Within Deloitte FAS, there is significant opportunity to grow a robust Health Care Forensic & Dispute capability with services to include Corporate Investigations, Litigation/Arbitration Services and Health Care Fraud. Today, this is an untapped marketplace for Deloitte FAS and represents a tremendous opportunity for an eminent player to build a market leading
capability. We are not limited by the substantial restrictions and constraints of Sarbanes-Oxley (as well as related conflicts in the health care sector) since the Deloitte firms provide attest (Audit) services to only a small portion of health care related companies.
- Establish practice and market eminence in Forensic & Dispute services, with a particular focus on the Health Care and/or Life Sciences industry
- Experience managing a professional practice
- Ability to develop and implement marketing and targeting strategies
- Must possess a consultative orientation and ability to deliver a broad range of innovative and value-added services.  Will build relationships and originate and manage revenue base
- Ability to develop a network of relationships with law firms, health care providers, regulatory professionals and pharmaceutical companies, where you will focus our marketing and targeting strategies
- Ability to team well and cross-sell not only Deloitte FAS
services but services of the other Deloitte U.S. Entities (i.e., Deloitte & Touche LLP, Deloitte Tax LLP and Deloitte Consulting LLP)
- Demonstrated technical excellence, ability to lead and manage significant client engagements involving health care industry clients
- Ability to interact comfortably with C-suite executives at Fortune 500 clients, large privately held companies, as well as both non-profit and for-profit health care and/or life science organizations
- Focused on coaching, mentoring and building a team of high performing professionals
- Experience in Corporate Investigations, Litigation and / or Forensic Accounting is required; experience in a professional services firm strongly preferred
