Global Manager - New Initiatives and Portfolio Analysis

Job Description:
The Global Manager of New Initiatives and Portfolio Analysis is responsible for evaluating and developing new business opportunities beyond existing category focus and for global new products portfolio data analysis to support Consumer Care business reviews.

1. Conceptualize, identify, evaluate and frame potential value of new product/business opportunities, obtained via acquisition, alliance, licensing, switch or internal ideation.
2. Assess these opportunities against strategic goals and objectives with detailed business plans and financial analysis.
3. Establish and manage the development and implementation of the project’s business case and work plan, strategic/technical/financial and market assessments, marketing plans, budget and long term financial plans to achieve the project’s volume, profit and spending objectives.
4. Manage, aggregate and analyze the new global BCC product portfolio project valuation information for strategic fit, financial value and portfolio balance.
5. Complete financial models and reports required for portfolio roll-ups, portfolio reviews and update portfolio methodology as required.
6. Present portfolio data in an easy to understand manner that helps make portfolio issues visible so decisions can be made.
7. Establish and maintain portfolio tool for portfolio analytics and management.

Education: MBA with concentration in Strategic Management and/or Marketing. Bachelor degree in Finance and/or Marketing
Experience: 5 years experience in new consumer products and financial modeling
Competencies: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Access) and economic analysis / valuation tools. Strong leadership skills and ability to cultivate good relationships/networks for teamwork. Excellent communication skills to present effectively, foster open communication, provide written communication and listen effectively to others. Ability to understand, interact and work effectively with wide range of functional group within and across the division to gather and synthesize information. Perform detailed business and financial analytics, think strategically and synthesize understanding into a cogent compelling business case. Highly organized and delivers on commitments with a sense of urgency.
