BRGFS is looking for a dynamic individual to replace the existing operations manager who is moving to a new post within BRGFS. The candidate will require strong team work and problem solving abilities in order to support the operations function. The candidate should provide strong internal controls and adherence to the Global Operations standards. In addition the candidate will need to participate in the global operations team ensuring best practice is achieved within their area of responsibility.



Principal Accountabilities:



50% Manages the Operations functions relating to Fixed Income and Equity custodian and PB accounts. Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of trade details, confirmation, settlement and maintenance of products traded. Responsible for reviewing internal controls and ensuring adherence to the global standards. Works closely with the fund accountants and portfolio managers to ensure the goals of the organisation are achieved.



25% Provide supervision of team leads and oversight of the operations administrators including hiring, training, coaching and development of staff.



15% Provide leadership within the global operation manager group by being an active participating member.



10% Provide leadership by working with the Global Operations Process Owner to identify and implement new processes and implement best practice. Responsible for implementing new technologies or applications within own field of responsibility and stays abreast of industry information.
REQUIREMENTS




Required:

Bachelors degree in finance or accounting

8+ years experience in financial markets

Direct and relevant experience in Futures, Equities, Muni Float rights and Fixed Income related products

3+ years of supervisory experience
