Financial Technician - Activity Based Costing (# 8240)

Job Description1.The primary responsibility of this position will be to create, compile, analyze and document operational and financial reports, maintaining operational and corporate standards. Standardized reports include: Telephone Overview Report, Organizational Charts, Standard & Volumes Operational Report, Headcount (FTE) Analysis Report, Financial Variance Reporting, etc.
2.Ensure data consistency and reporting integrity through on-going analysis of monthly financial and operational results to identify variances, risks, opportunities and trends.
3.This position supports internal management customers in both HQ and call center locations. Regular communication to identify and refine reporting requirements is a core job responsibility.
4.Participate in the MIS implementation project to automate data reporting.
5.Support the financial planning and analysis team, including the administration and approval control for capital expenditures.
6.Several ad hoc projects will be assigned, including data analysis, budgeting, cost/benefit analysis, etc.
7.Train and support field personnel.
8.Develop tools and/or models to facilitate the above functions.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum Requirements:
1.A college degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or Computer Science.
2.Three to Five years experience in a related position, preferably in the financial services industry. Knowledge / Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and Activity Based Costing in preferred.
3.Statistical modeling experience used in data and variance analysis.
4.Strong and demonstrated analytical, problem solving, decision-making and leadership skills.
5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required, including the ability to effectively influence and manage relationships.
6.Ability to work well with minimal direction.
