Financial Product Marketing Manager - Agriculture

The marketing product manager will be the key liaison between Financial Marketing and their counterpart in the Commercial Organization. The function of this role is to develop and maintain a strong partnership with Industrial in the design, development and execution of marketing programs that will drive customer and intermediary distribution market activity with a focus on sales and market growth impact.



Responsibilities

· Develops business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for location-based product lines.

· Design, package and improve financial products that meet the wants and needs of internal and external customers.

· Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products in the captive finance areas.

· Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with financial services product line objectives.

· Manage the design, implementation and monitoring of marketing initiatives and programs and develop analysis regarding the success of the initiatives. These would include dealer, customer and sales initiatives.

· Complete research and develop relationships with third party companies to determine approaches for targeted database marketing activities.

· Design and implement reporting tools that enhance the level of customer, dealer and market knowledge.

· Manage the market measures and reporting of program impact for assigned initiatives.

· Assist in other marketing related activities such as the understanding and resolution of competitive issues.

· Responsible for design, development, coordination and analysis of marketing campaigns. This would include getting senior management approval on the campaign as well as ensuring all departments understand and agree to support the initiative.

· Analyze key customer and dealer information and provide recommendations to management on what can be done to increase our business with customers/dealers.
REQUIREMENTS


· BS/BA degree.

· Demonstrated good leadership skills in product planning, market interpretation/analysis, product vision, market knowledge, competitive analysis, industry standards and product development.

· Ability to learn and apply new technologies.

· Strong understanding of market cycles and tactics.

· Good ability to develop positive and effective relationships with customers, press, internal clients and analysts.

· Strong business, financial, organizational and product marketing planning skills.

· Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to lead and direct teams (influence vs. authority).

· Good ability to capture market requirements, determine strategic relevance and translate into technical requirements.

· Good ability to write technical and market documents.

· Strong presentation skills.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

· Proven ability to work with others in a team environment

· An understanding of the Ag industry, products, distribution channels and customer types.

· Ability to work with various departments to communicate and implement programs/products to ensure the departments can execute and support the programs/products.

· Must have the initiative and leadership to execute on programs to ensure objectives are met within the time-line and budget required.

· Good technical knowledge of MS Office products

· Financial Services Marketing highly desired with a focus on captive finance in the manufacturing industry.

· Multiple positions are available, but each requires a specific focus. Dependent on the position, a thorough knowledge and understanding is required in that area of focused support.
