Financial Communications / Advertising Analyst

The Compliance Advertising Department is seeking an individual to be responsible for surveillance and monitoring of web sites and email, reinforce Firm policy, inform on Industry standards, and coordinate special projects. This individual would perform detailed analysis review of advertising, email and internet communications.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Update users and maintain the email archive system
Monitor and review email correspondence,websites, and advertising submissions
Update intranet site with advertising approved material
Compose and present weekly reports to management.
Interact and communicate with Representatives, Branch Managers and Regional Supervisors, with utmost tact and discretion.
Must be able to show thorough knowledge and understanding of securities regulations
Provide a high level of customer service
Continually learn and interpret regulations, policies, procedures and requirements
Promote understanding of branch business practices to GAF and ensure senior management is informed about any issues
Special projects as assigned. Some overtime may be required REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

2 years experience in financial services industry working with stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.
Securities licenses: Series 7, required Series 24 or the ability to obtain it within 90 days
Must be a team player, analytical, detail oriented and self directed with efficient Computer knowledge and ability
Possess problem solving skills, have the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
Ability to handle competing priorities and real-time needs
Excellent conflict resolution and both oral and written communications skills
Effective time management skills
