Financial Assistance Coordinator

Selection Criteria: This position requires a minimum of two years career school experience and/or administration experience. The ability to communicate effectively is essential; both oral and written skills are imperative. PC and/or MAC proficiency is required. Good organizational skills are needed; the ability to write and deliver presentations. Must be willing to accommodate flexible hours. Willing to represent the school honestly and ethically, and to perform all duties in the mutual best interest of the school and its students.

Job Objectives: The primary responsibility of this position is to assist students in all areas regarding tuition assistance.
REQUIREMENTS
Maintain compliance with all State, Accreditation and Department of Education Standards.
Research and develop additional financing options for students in order to provide them with various, effective means of educational finance.
Needs to be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills, and show strong attention to detail.
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Provide perspective students with information and guidance through the financing process.
Maintain all loan applications and student documents in the student database.
Must have proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Assist with any or all administrative duties as set forth by the Director.
Submit all reports in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
Assist with special projects and company functions such as graduation ceremonies, open house, and outside functions.
Ability to speak multiple languages a plus but not required.
