Classification: Temporary Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour Accountemps is actively recruiting for Purchasing Managers in the San Jose area. Our clients are in need of qualified Purchasing Managers! In this position the individual would be responsible for: researching and selecting vendors, maintaining and identifying economic order quantities to manage inventory costs, processing purchase orders, managing pricing and contract negotiations, hiring, training and supervising purchasing staff. The Purchasing Manager will have strong negotiation, communication, analytical and organizational skills. Possession of a CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) designation is a bonus!
