Executive Director - Lake View YMCA

This position is available at the Lake View YMCA, located at 3333 N. Marshfield Ave. in Chicago, IL.
This YMCA serves over 8,400 members with state-of-the art fitness equipment. The Center operates with a 4.1 million dollar budget.

The ideal candidate has the primary responsibility for the leadership and administration of the operational plan, budget, programs and services of the YMCA center. Duties include annual support campaign, capital campaign, strategic planning, program launches and new program development, resident operations, board development, membership and marketing, staff development and supervision, and continuous improvement.

This position requires someone with a special desire and ability to reach out to the community. Located in the heart of the Lakeview community. the members come from all walks of life, familie, singles, professionals and single parents. Our goal is to increase the membership and retain the existing members, by offering the best in customer service.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, or equivalent educational experience, with a minimum of 5 years of successful executive experience that includes extensive management and supervisory experience or a significant combination of education and experience. Should have a positive history of leadership in the areas of lay and staff development, program planning and innovation, budget development and management of fiscal control systems, financial development, strategic planning and community/board development. YMCA Executive Director experience a plus.
