Equity Originator - Chicago (Lake/Cook County), IL

DUTIES: We are currently searching for top quality home equity originators who will be responsible for the production of home equity loans and lines of credit within an assigned geographic area. The successful candidate will establish relationships with home equity referral sources, including businesses, financial planners, CPA's, builders, contractors, etc. for solicitation of their customers and employees to increase new originations and provide organic growth beyond traditional bank sales channels. Will work from a home office with the essential equipment provided. Area of coverage may include: Park Ridge, Buffalo Grove, Palatine, Glenview, Highland Park, Bannockburn, Golf Mill, or Evanston.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must have 2 plus years of successful experience in outside sales and the ability to develop and maintain a strong referral network. Bachelor's degree preferred. In addition, candidates are required to be self-motivated, resourceful and have a high level of integrity. Must have excellent communication/presentation skills, a proven sales record, and an understanding of the local market, including economic trends. Should also possess the ability to think creatively and seek effective solutions through innovation. Knowledge of home equity lending and products a plus. Bilingual skills (Spanish / English) are a plus.
