Database Management Associate

Log, validate, test, and process data files sent by clients (demographic data, grants, broker transactions, codes, etc.)

Process and transmit various files to clients via FTP.

Work with plan administrators to research and resolve data issues

Prepare communication materials by running Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Word Mail Merge

Perform monthly database maintenance for selected clients

Convert plan documents and award notices from Word to HTML for web publishing

Create ad-hoc reports to support administrators and client relationship managers

Document and maintain procedures

Act as liaison between QA testers and systems group

Work with systems group to troubleshoot system problems/outages

Write specifications for new functionalities as needed.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements (Job Specifications)
Strong communication skills are essential. Candidate should be able to speak and write clearly, as they will be asked to interact with team members, administrators, clients, vendors, management and IT staff.
Specific experience with stock option business and Express Options software preferred.Skills Required

BA (Finance or IT preferred)

Transcentive Express Options system

Proficiency with Word, Excel, and text editors

Understanding of relational database concepts

Good working knowledge of SQL (including joins, subselects, etc.)

MS SQL Server Enterprise Manager and SQL Query Analyzer

Crystal Reports – basic report writing

Microsoft Access – basic queries and data manipulation

HTML/CSS

MS Word Mail MergeSkills Desired
