Database Analyst II (PeopleSoft and SQL Server)

We currently have a need for a Database Analyst II (SQL Server and PeopleSoft) in either our Shawnee Mission, KS; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO or Dallas, TX office.

SQL Server Database Analyst/Administrator; PeopleSoft Analyst/ Administrator is responsible for ensuring the adequate availability, security, and performance of all database, application and web server resources in the Enterprise Systems Development Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Maintain several PeopleSoft environments.
Apply PeopleSoft tax updates, maintenance packs, patches, & fixes for all environments.
Work closely with PeopleSoft developers to support large PS development environment.

Support HCM, FSCM, CRM, EPM, & Portal environments.
Refresh SQL Server databases as needed by developers or functional teams.

Perform database administration activities including monitoring, space management, SQL tuning, database backup and recovery, & disaster recovery

A successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of PeopleSoft administration or analyst experience.

5+ years technical experience in a large enterprise environment

Sound working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Application Server, Web Server, & Process Scheduler.

Good understanding of the PeopleSoft development environment

Should have prior PeopleSoft upgrade experience.

Ability to work in a fast-paced multitasking environment.

Excellent communication skills.

Flexibility to work late at times (ie: overtime if involved in a critical issue, upgrade, etc.)

Ability to solve problems independently when handling urgent issues.

Ability to troubleshoot in a large enterprise environment, be able to work problems to resolution

Have significant experience with day-to-day management of SQL Server.

Have excellent knowledge of relational database systems in general.

Position requires 24x7 on call rotation schedule for various production support, database maintenance, housekeeping and installs.

Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
