Credit Analyst – VP - F500 / Middle Market Corporations

Our client, a Major International Bank, will be hiring a VP Credit Officer for their Corporate Credit Division. This individual will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience at a corporate bank, analyzing and assessing large corporate borrower transactions and loan counterparties. The ideal candidate will have a relevant business degree plus excellent credit training and skills. The bank is offering an excellent compensation package with a staring salary of up to $130K plus a bonus.





Major Responsibilities:


Review and access credit applications and monitor corporate borrowers/industries – including credit worthiness, loan structures, maximization of risk return, profile of borrower, their financial/industry standing, historical P & L, cash flow projections, assumptions and sensitivity cases.


Write accurate and well organized written credit opinions/summaries for presentation to management – making a case for approval/disapproval of credit, or changes in loan structures


Be an effective liaison between branch colleagues and senior management


Be fully cognizant of bank policies and procedures, legal and government compliance issues as they relate to department businessJob Requirements


5 + years’ experience as an Credit Analyst at a major Commercial Bank analyzing large corporate credits and customer transactions


Excellent financial modeling, risk scenarios, cash flow projections skills – formal credit training a plus. Excellent oral and written presentation skills


BA/BS, Finance, Accounting – MBA a plus.
